NEW YPT Requirements

There are new youth protection requirements for all adults attending Day Camp or Resident Camp.
All adults attending Day Camp or Resident Camp MUST attend the new 2012 BSA Classroom YPT Course. The course is good for 2 years and is valid for everything the Online course was valid for. It is only 1 hour and there are many times offered at the Longhorn Council office in Hurst. See below for schedule:
Longhorn Council Office, Hurst
Sat, May 19—9am–10am; 11am–Noon
Sat, May 26—9am–10am; 11am–Noon
You must pre-register for the classes held at the council offices. To sign up for a class at the Hurst office, please email YPT2012Hurst@longhorn.org with your name, unit (Pack 850), # of people, and the date, time, & location (Hurst) of the class.
New class offered:
Thurs, May 3—6:30pm–7:30pm,
Crown of Life Lutheran Church, Colleyville
There will be additional classes offered at District Roundtable Meetings and at Cub Scout Resident Camp.
*Please note, this is not initiated by BSA. The State of Texas has changed the YPT requirements for ALL TEXAS CAMPS.
