Sunday, June 27
National Scouting Museum, Irving, TX
2:30pm
Meet us at the National Scouting Museum, admission is FREE!
For those of you who are new to Scouting, the museum offers a sneak peek at the fun to be had as a Scout. In addition to the many interactive exhibits, the National Scouting Museum boasts the largest collection of Norman Rockwell paintings in the world.
This activity will count as progress towards the “Summertime Activity Award” pin. For those families who were unable to attend Day Camp or the Rocket build, this is a last chance opportunity to participate in a June activity.
Also, there is a fully inventoried Scout Shop at the museum. For new families, if you so choose, this could be an opportunity to purchase a uniform with the assistance of an experienced Scout parent and/or leader.
